The more we learn of American history the darker it becomes. And sadly, terrifyingly, there is a desire to return full force to those dark days. The title of your Posts, True Human, really urges one to consider, what is truly the meaning of human. Are we fulfilling our purpose in this life? Or redefining 'human' to satisfy our egos?
That's a good question. What I'm trying to do with the article and why I'm bringing it up now is to give voice to the voiceless. And while we work with Allah as our goal, we do have a responsibility to at least try to stop the abuse that Muslim kids are having to confront on their own. Islam made them visible, seen and heard, and then said they must be protected, before European and Western rights or protections. "The pen has been lifted from three: the sleeping until he awakes, the child until he matures, and the insane until he is cured."
